People over profits.

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers among women in New York State.

Affecting 1 in 8 women.

Approximately 16,700 women get diagnosed yearly. Men also get breast cancer, but it is very rare. About 160 men are diagnosed with breast cancer each year in New York State.

Many patients are not candidates for reconstruction due to underlying health conditions. Some patients have gone through the long reconstruction process only to have reoccurring infections which lead to removal of implants.

Patients are unaware that they have options other than surgery.

Together we can bring awareness.

“Our vision is to see that every mother, daughter, grandmother, aunt, sister, colleague, friend affected by breast cancer get the aftercare they deserve. Comfort is a right, not a privilege.”

The Human Fund provides grants to uninsured and under-insured breast cancer patients for quality silicone prosthetics, custom breast prosthetic and bras in NYC.

Insurance coverage varies from patient to patient, and at times, the items patients need are not covered or require out of pocket costs. With your help, we will not allow this to prevent patients from receiving the products they deserve to make them feel like themselves again.

We know the life-changing difference personalized aftercare makes.

All consultations and fittings are done by a professional certified mastectomy fitter provided by Matter Medical Supply.
